It's been tested and proved. But i would like to know on which websites. There's a HUGE difference between selling products with style and selling products with bad taste. I bet you a million dollars, companies like NIKE, apple etc. would never implement this button because it would devalue their image. Even if sales would rise 320%. It just doesn't work that way.
